The M25 is one of our Flagship projects in the UK ! IT is the most used part of the UK Strategic Road Network with IT seeing over 200,000 vehicles per day and IT's a critical infrastructure asset for personal and goods vehicles into and around our capital. The network includes around 800 structures and 5 tunnels, so IT requires high levels of performance, constant improvement and repairs to keep IT operating smoothly.
We've formed a Joint Venture project called Connect Plus Services (CPS) to work with our partners to widen, operate and maintain the M25 under a 30-year contract until 2039 and we are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join the Procurement and Supply Chain Management team
Key Responsibilities :
- Undertake comprehensive market analysis (e.g. supply chain mapping, RFIs, PQQs, supplier visits/audits, behavioural assessments) to link back to our aims and objectives in relation to our procurement approach which focuses on capacity, capability, competence and value alignment
- Work collaboratively with all internal teams to ensure that the supply chain has the best chance to deliver against agreed objectives
- Meet and coordinate with scoring teams to ensure 100% scorecard completion and integrity of scoring
- Update supply chain performance dashboard sharing a monthly update for CPS
- Ensure the supply chain understand the relevant scoring mechanisms
- Conduct supply chain performance data analysis to develop insight and identify opportunities to improve.
- Meet and coordinate with strategic supply chain on agreed schedule
- Implement & develop processes for supply chain management including material purchasing
- Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with the company policies and processes
- Ensure that necessary interface information between customer, supply chain and other
- Departments is provided in a timely manner.
- Work alongside suppliers in a collaborative and efficient way, creating a mutually beneficial working environment
- Collate 360 feedback from supply chain to embed continuous improvement to ensure and highlight areas for CPS to improve performance
- Encourage a transparent and collaborative review of performance, forward planning, innovation, and value
- Drive a collaborative reduction alongside our supply chain in risks and waste
- Develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Support embedment of sustainable procurement
- Support the implementation of the SRM plan throughout CPS and Highways
- Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm
- Undertake Modern Slavery Audits
- Ability to analyse information, identify trends and highlight potential points of concern
- Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business over time to support the developing nature of the business
- Supply Chain performance management experience
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel and Word
- Power BI Experience would BE an additional bonus.
- People networking skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Enthusiasm and results focus, with an ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good negotiation skills with both internal and external customers
