What you will do :
We are on a journey to revolutionize our data capabilities through the modernization of our Data Platform, unlocking insights and innovations that will power the company's future.

We're looking for a leader in data engineering who can inspire his team to drive the future of data in our company. If you're excited about leading from the front and pushing boundaries, join us as a Data Engineering Manager.

You will lead a team of middle and senior data engineers to implement and maintain best practices in data processing, according to the Data Lakehouse approach. You will :
- Participate in our data transformation program
- Design and build data collection, real time ingestion, and validation pipelines from various sources.
- Propose and build our AI robust foundations with data scientists
- Collaborate with DEVOPS and DevXp teams to implement engineering best practices
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the data engineering team, ensuring collaboration and alignment with broader business and product objectives
- Mentor and upskill team members
- Propose and validate architecture designs with Data Architects.
- Coordinate and run Proofs of Concept (POCs).
- Refactor and improve the orchestration design using Airflow.
- Management, Architecture, Upskilling = 70%, Hands-On = 30%

You will directly report to the Platform Engineering Director.
Who you are :You Must Meet These Critical Qualifications - Proven leadership and mentorship experience guiding data engineering teams.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Data Lakehouse architectures and implementation.
- Proficiency in Python and Airflow.
- Solid understanding of Data Mesh principles.
- Expertise in AWS services and Advanced SQL.
- Experience with data modeling and knowledge of medallion architecture.
- Familiarity with Terraform.
You Can Impress With These Additions- Experience with Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, or Snowflake.
- Understanding of Data Governance & Data Quality principles.
- Knowledge of Spark.
