The FP&A Analyst will BE a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team (FP&A), at the heart of ALSTOM's central Finance departments.
FP&A holds a key role in coordinating numerous actors within the organization : Finance departments (Consolidation, Regions Finance, Tax, Research & Development, Operation Finance) as well as non-Finance functions (Commercial, Strategy, HR...) all taking part to Alstom's Management System and to the achievement of objectives.
Being owner of the results, the team continuously looks for new ways to improve tools to optimize efficiency and reliability.;
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MISSION :
Reporting to the Topline & Product Lines Director, you will participate in the various planning and analysis activities including
Provide sound & timely financial information as well as transparent risks & opportunities analysis
Control the quality / reliability of reported data to ensure a solid basis for decision making
Interface with other Departments (Product Lines, Tender & Project controlling team, Investor Relations, Commercials, Strategy, etc.) to provide reliable information and get functions experts insight on some topics
Assemble presentations for executive committees and top management (actual, forecast, budget)
Provide ad hoc analysis on KPIs with a strong focus on Sales and Contract Margin
Prepare targets for forecast and budget exercises
Prepare management reports for published accounts and external communications
Ensure the reporting system structure is up to date for actual and planning cycles
Support regional finance organization to ensure common understanding of processes, to control their application and actively contribute to their improvement
PROFILE :
Educational level : M2 in finance
Technical skills : French and English at working level is necessary
Behavioral skills : Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize
Contract : 6 months / Starting date : Dec.24
